COUNSELLING IS FOR EVERYONE!

Counselling is an opportunity to talk with someone who can be objective.

Counselling can be the way to learn new tools for how to handle situations.

Counselling provides help to anyone needing support.

A problem for one persons impacts others in the relationship so counselling can play a mediating role.

Counselling involves listening, providing feedback and so much more!

STEPS TO MAKING THE FIRST APPOINTMENT:

CALL and speak to Janet (or text or email her)!
She will help you identify the problem and how it can best be addressed.

COUNSELLING SESSIONS ARE:

  • 1 hour in length
  • available via FaceTime, Skype or Google Duo as well as by phone
  • when COVID-19 is cleared appointments will continue online unless clients prefer an alternative.

SET A TIME rather than wait.
Problems do not go away on their own, they just get put on a shelf.

HOURS:

Daytime starting at 9:00 AM, and evening before 7:00 PM.

AFTER HOURS:

If the situation is an emergency, please call the Distress Centre at 403-266-1605.

THE NUMBER OF SESSIONS:

The number of sessions depends on several factors, e.g. the type of problem, willingness to change, availability to attend regular sessions and several other variables.
